In
order to fulfill your order and produce the highest
quality product for your company we need the following: |
  Your
logo in Adobe Illustrator EPS format. This logo
must be a vector art image to allow for resizing.
See image at right.
Our
art department will use your logo for your ad space
on all the maps, and for your imprint on your personal
maps. The imprint area is the space between the
map and calendar and this will be your strongest
advertisement to your best customers. |

A photo of your building showing the front, including
the roof line and one preferable side. We recommend
that you take several photos of your building, zoom
in so that the building height is filling 3/4 of your
photo, then take several photos moving from edge to
edge of building (left to right). We can stitch the
photos together to create the whole building. ALSO include
a photo of the main entrance doorway, by itself.
A few things to consider:
a) Cars - We can clean out a few cars here and there
usually, but if the whole lower half of the building
is obstructed by a full parking lot, then the pictures
are best taken after/before hours.
b) Trees- Same as with cars. do your best to stay
between the trees and the building, but if there is
a large tree population that conceals the building,
send us what you can and we can take a look, maybe
we can work with it, or possibly we just need a picture
of a certain portion of the building to correct the
photo.
c) Shadows- This can be an issue with buildings that
have lots of trees, especially if it's single story.
Also applies to photos taken at dawn/dusk. Although
those times are ideal to avoid the parking lot obstructions,
they can be difficult to get a good photo. Our art
dept advises taking the picture in the best sunlight
available without the cars even if it is dawn/dusk,
then retake again when the sun is hitting the building
(afternoon). Through the combination of the two sets,
all should be fine! |

Imprint Information (Custom Foil) - usually
the same company information as on the contract. Name,
address, phone, fax, and web site. You may want multiple
offices or a company slogan or tag line. There is
plenty of room in this 12" X 3" section between the
map and calendar (location noted on Map Info page).
We
create the imprint based on the information you've
given us. Then the file is made into a plate that
will be used to stamp your imprint on the maps you
ordered in a beautiful Silver Foil. The silver foil
really makes your logo stand out to your customers.
The best part? It's at their eye's level for an entire
year!
